Real Estate
South Gulf Cove is a deed restricted community located off of Rt. 771 between Port Charlotte and Boca Grande. South Gulf Cove boasts approximately 55 miles of canals, most accessible directly to Charlotte Harbor. All of the canals in South Gulf Cover lead into Interceptor Lagoon which in turn leads to a lock near the mouth of the Myakka River; this is where residents reach Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.
South Gulf Cove has their own community association which keeps up on maintaining all of the communities 15,000 lots to the highest standard. Some 4,000 of the communities’ parcels are on the water, but not to worry for the remainder of the lots as there is a community boat ramp for everyone to use.
Homes in the area range from $60,000 all the way up to $500,000. Since South Gulf Cove is such a newer community, none of the homes are over 10 years old. Vacant properties on saltwater canals alone go for over $200,000. As you get closer to the Interceptor Lagoon the price you pay for a parcel of land will most definitely rise.
Englewood beach is only 15 minutes, as well as all of the shopping in downtown Port Charlotte. Within 20 miles you have all of major amenities you would enjoy in any major city.
South Gulf Cove is the only place you want to live if you enjoy fishing, boating, and a laid back luxurious lifestyle.
